Websites, AI & Digital Help for Local Business · Washington County, WI
Websites, social, automation and custom software for local businesses — built around how you already work, delivered in weeks, and yours to keep.
Recent Work
Websites for businesses that had none, and custom systems that turn hours of manual work into seconds.
Five restaurants. Four hundred and six reviews. No website anywhere.
Search for their menu and you get seven different aggregator sites, none of them theirs, any of which can be wrong about a price or list something they stopped making years ago. They had no way to correct a single one.
So: five sites, each with its own menu as real text rather than a photograph, its own town page, and its listings claimed — linked together so the group reads as one business. Before starting I recorded what search engines and AI assistants said about all five. We re-run that check in October and compare.

Properties, tenants, rent and maintenance in one place.
What replacing the spreadsheets and the monthly subscriptions looks like for a property firm — built to show the shape of the thing rather than for a client who commissioned it.

Bill analysis: ~1 hour → seconds.
A tool for an energy brokerage that reads a utility bill, pulls the numbers with AI, and compares them against supplier rates to surface savings instantly.

Answers every call, day or night.
An AI phone agent that answers in your own voice: takes messages, answers common questions, and texts you the details after every call.
Web Design & Build
Fast, responsive, custom-designed sites—built and shipped end to end. A few from my own ventures:

AI oversight and Shadow AI audits for companies deploying AI.

Track, offset, and report the carbon footprint of AI usage.

A watchdog and policy network for AI built in the public interest.

An open catalog of AI-for-good projects, makers, and capital.
About
I grew up in Wisconsin and I have been a computer nerd for about as long as I can remember. That turned into starting businesses — several of them — which is where you learn the difference between what actually helps a small operation and what merely sounds impressive.
Now I do that for other local businesses. I specialize in website design, automation and putting AI to a specific job, but the honest description is wider than a service list: if it is digital and it is in your way, bring it to me. Sometimes that is a proper build. Sometimes it is an afternoon spent fixing the thing nobody has had time to look at. Both are worth doing, and I would rather you asked than assumed it was too small.
I also do some work in AI policy, which is mostly useful to you as a filter — I can usually tell the difference between AI that will earn its keep in your business and AI that is simply being sold to you.
Whatever it turns out to be, it gets built around how you already work, handed over with training, and it is yours to keep. No vendor lock-in and no subscription you cannot walk away from.
I also think AI should be used with intention, which is why a portion of every project funds environmental accountability work for AI's growing footprint.
