Three real questions a customer would ask, for your trade and your town. You see exactly what came back and who got named.

When someone asks an assistant to recommend a business like yours in your town, it names two or three. Most owners have never checked whether they are one of them, and there is no notification either way — the phone just rings slightly less than it used to.
So let's look. It costs nothing and you keep what we find whether or not you ever hire me.

Not how it looks — what it actually serves. Some sites in this area hand over fewer than a hundred characters of readable text. I will show you yours next to whoever is getting recommended instead, and show you how to check it yourself in ten seconds.
If you have Google Analytics installed, I can tell you in five minutes how many visitors arrived from ChatGPT, Perplexity or Copilot last quarter. Almost nobody has ever looked, and the answer is interesting either way. No analytics? I will set it up, free, either way.
I work in AI policy and governance, and I got curious about how these systems actually pick local businesses. So in August I swept 3,400 businesses across 24 southeastern Wisconsin towns and 18 trades, then opened and read 503 of their websites the way a crawler does.
431 of those 503 told a machine nothing at all about the business. Your town is probably already in that data — see the town-by-town findings.
It is not a promise to get you named by ChatGPT. Nobody controls that, it can change with an update neither of us had anything to do with, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
What is true and worth knowing: a site that hands a machine fifty characters is failing at everything — ordinary Google, the preview when somebody shares it in a group chat, all of it. That part is measurable, it is fixable, and you will be able to check every number yourself.
Tell me the business and the town. I will run it and send you what I find, usually within a day or two.
